Over the decades, the Lady Dior bag has been established as an indelible icon of the House. It's most notably distinguished by its structured shape, geometric Cannage topstitching and 'D.I.O.R.' charm. The stitching is inspired by seats which customers were sat in for the first runway show, in 1947. That motif has since become an emblem of the House. The original handbag also featured a top-handle design that has since evolved into a myriad of silhouettes reimagined by the Creative Director, Maria Grazia Chiuri.
